Dr. Jesus Trevino is the Associate Vice Provost for Inclusive Excellence and Senior Diversity Officer at the University of Arizona.  He recently served as the Associate Vice President for Diversity at the University of South Dakota from 2012- 2016.  Dr. Trevino has both a Ph.D. and M.A. degree in Education from UCLA, an M.A. degree in Language and International Trade from Eastern Michigan University and a B.S. in Social Work, also from Eastern Michigan University.  He is the former Associate Provost for Multicultural Excellence and Clinical Associate Professor in Education at the University of Denver.  Dr. Trevino also served from 1992 to 2002 as Assistant Dean for Cultural Diversity and Director of the Intergroup Relations Center at Arizona State University. His areas of expertise include campus intergroup relations, campus climate, social justice training, and Inclusive Excellence.
