About the Speaker:
Dr. Pour-Ghasemi is currently an Infectious Disease Fellow at USC, where he holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medical Education. He completed a Master's of Science of Global Medicine as well as his MD at USC. He started teaching for the Global Medicine program in 2015, and later developed the degree's interprofessionalism track, for which he is currently the primary instructor. He performs research in antimicrobial stewardship, and is currently developing global health opportunities for the department of internal medicine.
