College of Medicine
Second Look is an event for accepted medical students. They are invited back to campus for a more in-depth tour, information sessions on the curriculum, student opportunities (such as distinction tracks and clubs), and to meet their fellow accepted students.
Thursday, April 3:
New admits will be introduced to UA College of Medicine highlights such as surgical observations, AMSA talent show and UA COM medical student awards, diversity programs and meet each other!
Friday, April 4:
New admits will experience what it's like to be a medical student, including sample lectures, student panels, learn about the AZMed curriculum and distinction tracks, and the opportunity to meet faculty, staff and current medical students.
Saturday, April 5:
Lastly, the students will engage with the COM and Tucson communities by choosing fun experiences, including a brunch with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, hiking with the Wilderness Club, or attending UA athletic events!
