- The Shared Shelf Book Club -examines readings relevant to racism in medicine and anti-racism
- Fatal Invention by Dorothy Roberts
- How to be an Anti-Racist by Ibram Kendi
- Challenges
- Enhancing student, staff and faculty participation
- Solutions –
- Met with SDAC – suggestions to be implemented
- Send quarterly or 6-month schedule of book club dates and sections to be reviewed
- Sent timely reminders 1-2 weeks prior to meeting date
- Create list of books for the entire year/semester
- Offer incentives – books or other incentives for participants who attend
- SDAC willing to help promote Book Club
- Presentation at Coffee with COM-T Admin Meeting for their input

Create a Staff Diversity Advisory Committee (Staff DAC) to engage UACOMT staff
