Shrey S. Goel, 4th Year Medical Student

BNGAP Project:  Shrey's project is a program evaluation of a novel training series created and offered by the UACOM ODEI for faculty and staff. The training serves to bring leadership skills training and anti-bias training together to help guide faculty on how to intervene in disruptive workplace behavior and help a team heal after it. The program evaluation will assess participants' behavioral intention and perceived self-efficacy through a retrospective pre and post survey.

Jeremey Gneck, MD, PGY3 Pediatrics

Wildcat Project:  Produced in collaboration with the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson Admissions office, ”Wanna Be a Medcat?”—is a video media project featuring current college of medicine students from groups traditionally under-represented in medicine explaining the application process for medical school admission. In brief video segments, students discussed admission requirements such as undergraduate grades, the MCAT, personal statements, letters of recommendation and what to expect during an interview. These videos were uploaded to the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson Admissions webpage and social media accounts. The goal of the project was to not only provide insight into how to apply to medical school; but also, to give an identifiable example of student diversity at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson to prospective medical students.
