Q&A With Uma

What has your path been like to where you are now?

Up and down. There has been success and failures. Just when you think everything is going one way, life changes the path.

Anita Koshy, MD

Anita is from Albuquerque, NM and has always enjoyed science and math. In college she found a love of neuroscience.

Q&A With Anita

What has your path been like to where you are now?

LONG. Clinically 6 years, followed by 5 1/2 years as post doc. I loved basic science in college, but in med school when you have to spend a year long research, that confirmed that I wanted to be a physician scientist who ran a lab.

Jose Fancisco EK Vitorin, Research Assistant Professor

Jose has been in the natural world since he was a child. After studying medicine, he looked for a chance to get into basic research, wanting more information on all things "medicine or science".

Q&A With Jose

What has your path been like to where you are now?

I left the clinic for an opportunity to understand the cardiac action potential. I am still on the task. I have a MS and PhD in Physiology and Biophysics.
